If you are interested in joining the Hartford Wailers team, please contact Erin at contact@hartfordwailers.com. We are looking for about 2 men and 1 woman to join us! Auditions are held on Tuesdays starting at 8pm, and we would appreciate an appointment.
What are the benefits of coming out to audition? We're glad you asked.
They are:
1) Finding an outlet for that voice of yours, other than the car, shower, and the shady karaoke bars you go to every once in a while (don't deny it, you know who you are).
2) Being a part of the CASA league, we can attend yearly summits throughout North America and learn new techniques and skills to enhance our performance as well as meet new people and sing with other league groups.
3) Regular performances in the Greater Hartford area, throughout Connecticut and who knows, maybe the wild blue yonder or other areas of the world besides our little Nutmeg state.
4) Being a part of a group where you can sing the music you love.
What is required of you at the audition:
- You will be asked to fill out an info page about yourself to be presented to us at your audition. (Be sure to get there about 10 minutes before audition to fill out info sheet.)
- You will need to prepare a verse and chorus of a song that showcases your voice. (It is best to have two of different genres, just in case ask.)
- If you are a vocal percussionist and you are wanting to audition solely for that, please let us know or come on down.
- If you have anything else that you feel may be relevant to your audition, bring it on!!!!
